About Us
We strive to maintain a balanced style of worship in each of our services at DeVotie. Mixing traditional hymns with contemporary hymns and worship songs creates a unique service that has something for everyone. For many people, singing as a large group in the worship service is enough; however, if you're interested in becoming more involved in music at DeVotie, join us for choir practice! We typically meet at 4:00pm on the first and third Sundays of each month in the choir room.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the music ministry of DeVotie Baptist Church is to creatively serve God by: Leading others in worship through music, Worshiping in a variety of musical styles so that people of all ages and backgrounds may be drawn closer to Him, Encouraging those with musical talent to use their talents to bring God glory, and Instilling the love of musical worship in people of all ages.
